
Participant - Laureate of the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, recognized by the Zayed Foundation, is participating in the 34th session of the International Date Palm Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, concluding its program tomorrow at the National Exhibition Center Abu Dhabi.
In the framework of his special stand, the Secretariat of the award presented seven new scientific publications dedicated to the cultivation of date palms, the production of figs, and agricultural innovations.
Among them are works such as "Date Palm Cultivation" (in Arabic), "Date Palm Cultivation", a glossary of terms in biotechnology in food and agricultural sectors, "Cultivation of Dates and Production of Figs in Mexico" (in Spanish), "Food Applications of Figs" (in Arabic), "Organic Farming" (in English), and "The Unknown Sort: The Pearls of Date Palms" (in Indonesian), previously released in four languages: English, Arabic, French, and Spanish.
"Participating in the exhibition is an opportunity for dialogue with a community of stakeholders and specialists in the agricultural sector and allows to promote the scientific significance of the award, through the creation of scientific literature," noted the general secretary of the award, Dr. Abdulwahhab Zayed.
He emphasized that the award continues its mission to support rural development, environmental protection, and human development, striving to use the book as a means of positive influence and promotion.
